Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the RoleHive service ("Service") provided by RoleHive ("RoleHive", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of unauthorised use.

2. Subscriptions, Trials & Billing

  • Plans and pricing are listed on our website and may include free trials.
  • Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You authorise Stripe to charge your payment method each period.
  • Fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for applicable VAT, sales, or withholding taxes.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
  • We may change pricing on 30 days' notice for the next renewal.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe rights of others.
  • Submit content that is discriminatory, defamatory, harmful, or violates employment, equality, or labour law.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass technical limits or rate limits.
  • Use the Service to build a competing product or train a competing model.
  • Upload malware, conduct attacks, or interfere with the Service.

4. Customer Content

You retain all rights to job descriptions, prompts, templates, and other content you submit ("Customer Content"). You grant RoleHive a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and display Customer Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. We do not use your Customer Content to train foundation models.

5. AI-Generated Output

Output from AI features is generated probabilistically and may be inaccurate or biased. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing or relying on it, particularly for compliance with employment law and equality duties in your jurisdiction. RoleHive does not provide legal advice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including software, design, and templates we provide, is owned by RoleHive and protected by IP laws. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription.

7. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. Where we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies and is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (e.g. Google OAuth, Stripe, AI model providers). Their terms apply to your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Suspension & Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or risk to the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will delete or return Customer Content as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleHive disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleHive's aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service will not exceed the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or death/personal injury).

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify RoleHive against third-party claims arising from your Customer Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes to these Terms will be notified by email or in-app at least 30 days before they take effect, except where change is required by law. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Dublin have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring claims in the courts of their place of residence as required by applicable law.
